Charismatic young singer-guitarist-songwriter, Samantha Fish, grew up in a musical family in Kansas City, Missouri and became obsessed with music early in life. After taking up drums, she switched to guitar at the age of 15. By the time she was 20, she had formed her own trio and self-released her first album Girls with Guitars. Her next albums won considerable critical acclaim and further established Fish as a prominent presence in the blues community, jamming onstage with blues icon Buddy Guy and guesting on Devon Allman’s album Turquoise.
Since her first performance at BlueSeas festival in 2016, the powerful live performer has released Chills & Fever, which achieved top 10 status in the Billboard Blues charts, and Belle of the West, her fifth studio album. This deeply soulful, personally charged album showcases Fish's sublime acoustic guitar skills as well as her rootsy, emotionally resonant song writing.
