Vergelijkingen met legendes als Carole King en Joni Mitchell werden zelfs gemaakt. Nadat ze afstudeerde aan het Brighton Institute of Modern Music trok Harman de wijde muziekwereld in en bracht tot nu toe twee studioalbums uit: <em>Dirt On My Tongue<\/em> uit 2013 en de opvolger <em>People We Become<\/em> uit 2017. De laatste nam ze op in Nashville en bevat de single When We Were Young, waarop Michael McDonald meezingt. Harman boekte succes in eigen land en daarbuiten; ze was de hoofdact in prestigieuze zalen en op festivals door heel Europa en elders.
