Zanger en gitarist <b>Kirk Fletcher<\/b> legde de basis voor de blues in de kerk waar zijn vader predikant was en hij gitaar begon te spelen. Door fortuinlijke ontmoetingen met bluesmuzikanten bouwde hij een sterk netwerk op en toerde hij uiteindelijk als gitarist met Kim Wilson\u2019s Blues Revue; later speelde hij met bekende bluesbands en -artiesten zoals Wilsons band The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Charlie Musselwhite, Doyle Bramhall, The Mannish Boys en Joe Bonamassa.
