Blood Brothers featuring Mike Zito & Albert Castiglia

Combine two heavyweight blues singers, songwriters and guitarists, and what do you get? Blood Brothers, the exciting project of Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia which has been captivating audiences for several years. It resulted in the 2023 album of the same name which was produced by Josh Smith and Joe Bonamassa, who said of the pair: “Mike and Albert finish each other’s sentences musically.” In November of that same year, their studio album was followed by a live recording, Blood Brothers: Live in Canada. Zito made his name as a solo artist as well as with all-star band Royal Southern Brotherhood. His latest solo album Life Is Hard was released last year. Castiglia started out backing legendary blues musician Junior Wells and singer Sandra Hall before embarking on a solo career. In 2023, he was named Best Blues Rock Artist at the Blues Music Awards.
