Toby Lee is a British guitar prodigy who taught himself to play when he was 8 years old. At age 10, he recorded a ‘Get well soon’ jam for B.B. King. The video went viral and Lee was invited to play at King’s Blues Club in Memphis. Now still only 21, Lee has done a lot in the ten years after that. He played in the theatre production of School Of Rock in London, jammed with Ronnie Baker Brooks at the Blues Heaven Festival in Denmark, and featured in a television documentary called Child Prodigies. He has won awards, released several albums and shared the stage with, among others, Buddy Guy, Billy Gibbons, Peter Frampton, Slash, and his hero Joe Bonamassa, who calls him “a future superstar of the blues.”
