Jackie Venson

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Jackie Venson was born in Austin, Texas. Her father was a professional musician, her mother a doctor who encouraged her to play the piano from age 8. She eventually graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she also picked up the guitar. Venson now has five studio albums to her name, as well as six live albums. She has shared stages with artists varying from Gary Clark Jr. and Melissa Etheridge to Alanis Morissette and Lainey Wilson. Her music has the same wide range; in addition to playing everything from blues rock to electro funk and jazz-infused guitar pop, she also has a DJ remix project called jackie the robot. Venson’s latest album, The Love Anthology, was released in 2025.
