Over the course of his career, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Tommy Castro has played thousands of shows to hundreds of thousands of fans. A six-time Blues Music Award-winner, Castro always brings along his band, The Painkillers, consisting of bassist Randy McDonald, drummer Bowen Brown and keyboardist Michael Emerson. Together they play music that is guaranteed to fill the floor and raise the roof. Playing guitar since the tender age of 10, San Jose, California native Castro started playing in cover bands in the 1970s and leading his own bands since the early 1990s. He has released 16 albums to date, the latest being 2021’s A Bluesman Came To Town
